I just returned from magical Assateague Island, where wild ponies roam the beaches, so here is an official pony post! If you look closely you will see Clementine the Bassett snuck into one of those photos…We camped there over 4th of July weekend, which I highly recommend doing if you ever get the chance. No you can’t pet the ponies or really get near them - they supposedly bite and kick people. They are wild animals, even if they look super cute. But they’re definitely not scared of humans, and mostly, they came to our campsites and raided them for food. Wild burger-loving ponies!
Good conversation turns me on. A connection between two people, a mental one first.

8 Minutes of the Earth’s Rotation
How I wish our planet’s movement was this apparent while staring at the night sky. It could probably make a lot more people realize just how tiny we are compared to this vast unexplored galaxy above our heads.
This is a stack of 70 pictures with a 5 second exposure each at ISO 3200 and f/2.2.
